I have been coming here for many years. 20 plus years. Traditional fish and chips the way fish and chips should be made! Not many good fish and chips shops left. Most use horrible tasting oils and dont wrap in plain white paper which i like. This shop is like the ones i used to go to as a kid. Large portions too. Minimum is usually enough. A cheap feed! Great quality. Highly recommended !

I just had the more of best feed of fish and chips I have ever had. I have been going to this shop for 38 years. I don't know what Tony Kinnell is referring to when he described his meal as soggy and cooked in old oil. My fish was Spanish Mackerel, it was a very generous sized fillet and my chips were cooked beautifully and all were crisp and fresh. I ate mine within 10 minutes of being wrapped, maybe Tony took a bit longer to open his. I think Tony should try them again and write an apology to the hard working staff at the best fish and chip shop in Australia.

2 bits of snapper that doesn't taste like snapper and chips that are very oily lifeless and that's $27.00 better meal at Hungry Jack's.
